Brian was a founding director of F&J which opened its doors in 1992. Strong networking and customer service focus came from a career with CMA / Honeywell Bull, and was primarily responsible for the IT requirements of the Australian Airlines network as well as several leading mining companies.
The unique opportunity for a professional IT service company on the Gold Coast in the 90’s ensured a solid foundation and the culture of professional reliable service has endured to this day.

Brian originally completed an Electrical Engineering cadetship in Electronics and Communications with OTC / Telecom, and holds CNA, UNIX and Citrix Certifications as well as many platform specific certifications with HP, IBM and Lexmark..
Jay was the Network Administrator for Billabong Australasia for over 10 years. He was responsible for ensuring the continuity and reliability of their IT systems so that the company and its employees could get on with the business of making Billabong such a successful brand globally. He has a strong passion for Networks and as such, his clients in our region and beyond prosper from very reliable IT systems.
Jay’s industry qualifications include; Bachelor of Information technology, Microsoft Certified System Engineer, ACT! Certified Consultant, Certified Lotus Professional R5.

Shelley joined the company in 1998 and is usually the first point of contact for our company. She works with our engineers in developing proposals for projects and is responsible for ordering all the software and hardware require. She then liaises with our clients to organise installation and ongoing maintenance. All administration and accounts matters are processed by Shelley. She has completed a Diploma in Business (Marketing) and is also on the Committee of the Medical Receptionist Association. With over 14 years of dedication to our clients, Shelley ensures our customers receive the service they’ve come to expect.

Daniel has been with F&J for 14 years and holds a senior technical and advisory role within the firm. He has strong knowledge in MS Small Business Server, Disaster Recovery, Server Migrations, networking technologies and IBM X-Series Servers. He looks after our larger clients with offices across the country.
Daniel’s industry Qualifications include: Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft SBS Certified, Cisco certifications and a Bachelor in Information Technology. Daniel also has training in StorageCraft Shadow Protect and VMWare ESXi.
Cameron has been with F&J for more than 11 years. He is one of our senior technicians with years of experience in maintaining and servicing Networks for our larger clients.
Cameron’s industry qualifications include; Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft SBS Certified, Cisco and Citrix certifications. Cameron also has training in StorageCraft Shadow Protect and VMWare ESXi.
Phillip is a recent addition to the F&J team, but has had years of experience in the IT field. He has been working with computers for over 7 years and has worked as a Network engineer for more than 4 years. Phil is a dedicated technician and believes in providing outstanding results for his clients and their business.
Phil's training includes several information technology diplomas and industry recognised certifications including Microsoft Certified Professional, Systems Administration and Networking Engineering. He is always developing his knowledge in the field through ongoing training to broaden his qualifications and skill set to serve our clients better.
Robert is a long serving part of the F&J team with over 12 years service. He has a long history in supporting clients with hardware and software related issues and excels in reliable service and repairs. For several years he worked as a production supervisor in a Fire alarm systems company. His role included fault finding, testing, manufacturing and installation. Robert's experience extends trough several previous roles, all with a strong electronics focus.
Robert is a keen surfer and loves to get out on a weekend when the conditions are favourable.
Roberts industry training includes CISCO support, Printer support and various other hardware products and brand. Robert is our primary technician completing work for such National Third Party providers as IBM, AWA, Promim and RSS.
Tyler was a phone based Help Desk support technician team leader with IBM for 10 years. He then moved into an on-site team leader role for several years followed by an IT management role with a new IT support company on the Gold Coast. He was responsible for ensuring the IT needs of his customers were attended to, as well as researching and implementing new projects including servers, network solutions, and disaster recovery.
Tyler is trained in ISO 9001 quality management and ITIL V3 practices. He also has knowledge and experience with supporting Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server architecture, as well as Macintosh and various Linux distributions. He also has experience with supporting various network strategies including Cisco. Tyler has been supporting computer systems (including Commodore and Tandy) for over 20 years. In the pre-internet days, Tyler ran several BBS (bulletin board systems).
Tyler has a diploma certifying him as a Microcomputer specialist and is in the process of becoming a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Matthew has been working as an ACT! Certified Consultant for Act Today since early 2010, and has developed a solid affinity with the Sage ACT! software. Matthew is passionate about assisting businesses to increase their productivity by formulating a tailored approach to managing their business contacts.
Matthew’s industry qualifications include; Bachelor of Information Technology and is also certified as an ACT! Consultant. He is also in the process of becoming a Microsoft Certified Professional.
